Southside’s offices will be closed from 4pm on 23rd December until 9am on 4th January 2021.
Our amazing staff and volunteer team will be taking a much-needed break at the end of this difficult year. We support and care for our team, and are very grateful to them for their hard work and dedication throughout 2020.
Southside reacted swiftly at the start of lockdown and provided direct support online, by phone and remotely for families and people affected by domestic abuse, helping victims and their children to leave and find safety and access the support they need.
We set up a new Food Pantry in Twerton to respond to the immediate need, and our team delivered food, care supplies and activity packs for isolated vulnerable families throughout Bath and North East Somerset. Through our Family Food Hub Groups since the Summer, Southside has provided thousands of meals for local families, cooked freshly by Dan, a professional chef.
We look forward to restarting the Family Food Hub Groups, Food Pantries and all our support services at the start of 2021 to ensure that individuals and families can access the care and support they need.
