If you have an upcoming birthday, anniversary, wedding, civil partnership, retirement or other celebration, you can raise funds for Southside by asking your friends and family to donate in lieu of gifts.

You could tie in your fundraising with your age or the number of years you have been married – for example, if you’re having a 25th Anniversary celebration, you could ask your guests for donations of £25 to Southside.

Southside’s CEO, Penny McKissock, recently raised funds for the charity in celebration of her 50th Wedding Anniversary.

You can also donate to Southside as a gift on behalf of someone special – a great alternative to a more traditional present. If you let us know the details of the recipient and we’ll send you a card that you can give to let them know how the donation made in their name will make a difference through Southside’s work.
